War is one of the greatest undoings of a nation. When a group of rebels
threaten the well-being of a country, only an agent who is highly
trained for such matters can do anything to subdue the raging danger.
Directed by Shoojit Sircar and starring John Abraham, Nargis Fakhri and
Rashi Khanna, Madras Cafe is a historical action-drama war film that
follows the eventual coming together of an Indian Intelligence agent and
a driven journalist who, after uncovering that they are working towards
the same thing, start to dig deeper into the ploy of an insurgent group
that has been fueling a civil war on a coastal island.
